I've been racing triathlon since 1997 from sprint to Ironman and I finished my first Ironman in 2000 Isuzu Ironman California Triathlon Inaugural without training because my friend Tony Chimento can’t do the race due to his work conflict 2 weeks out, which I won’t do again..maybe...finished in 13:24:30. Then I reenlisted back in the military in 1999 after leaving the military in 1993 and raced more triathlons while in the military being sponsored by my naval command. Then I stop racing once I joined the elite team of Navy SEALs in 2005. I retired in 2015 and start training back again on triathlon using what I learned in the past. I did my first 70.3 last year at Waco then my second 70.3 this year at Texas 70.3. I founded Team RED4 “Racing 4 Everyone Deployed” TeamRED4.org which brings awareness to three NSW Foundations and through this team, I can do what I love which is triathlon, while bringing awareness and help to the foundations. I was with TriDot from Feb of this year to the present. I did most of my training schedule through past experience, but having TriDot developed my training plan for my races is really an eye-opening. First, it is convenient, second, it is very structured training, lastly, I can see the difference right away from all my three events from hard training to recovery it is a game changer. I still need to fine tune everything, but it is worth it having TriDot on my side to reach my goals of qualifying for both 70.3 and 140.6 Ironman World Championship every year.
